Syllagen converts course syllabi into calendar-ready schedules that students review before export.

Information we process

We process account details, uploaded syllabus content, extracted course information, calendar choices, connected-calendar identifiers, OAuth tokens, and limited operational logs needed to run and secure the service.

How information is used

Information is used to parse syllabi, save course workspaces, create or update calendars you approve, preserve later edits, prevent duplicate events, and diagnose service errors. Syllagen does not request access to your email messages.

Connected calendars

Google and Microsoft permissions are used only for the account and calendar functions shown during authorization. You can disconnect either provider from your Syllagen account. Disconnecting removes Syllagen's stored authorization token but does not delete calendars already created in the provider.

Service providers

Syllagen uses infrastructure and processing providers, including Render, Neon, OpenAI, Google, and Microsoft, only as needed to deliver the service.

Storage and security

Saved course records remain available for later review and updates. Calendar credentials are encrypted at rest, and deployed traffic uses HTTPS. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your control

You review and may edit calendar data before export. Items without confirmed critical scheduling data are withheld from export until clarified. During the private beta, data-access or deletion requests are handled through the beta support channel provided to participants.
