Syllagen policies
Terms of Service
Effective July 23, 2026
These terms govern use of the Syllagen private beta.
Purpose of the service
Syllagen helps students convert syllabus information into a calendar. It is an organizational aid, not an official academic record or a replacement for the syllabus, registrar, instructor, or learning-management system.
Your responsibility
You must review course details before export and confirm missing scheduling information from an authoritative source. You remain responsible for deadlines, attendance, submissions, and calendar settings.
Calendar access
Syllagen creates or updates only the course calendar you approve. You may disconnect a provider at any time. Provider availability, notification delivery, and calendar refresh behavior are controlled partly by Google or Microsoft.
Acceptable use
Upload only material you are authorized to use. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, access another person's account, or use Syllagen for unlawful activity.
Beta availability
The beta may change, experience interruptions, or contain errors. Features and these terms may be updated as the service approaches general availability.
Disclaimer
Syllagen is provided on an as-available basis during beta. Always compare exported results with official course information.
